Each year, ASPA hosts State Convention at The University of Alabama. Convention allows high school students from across the state to come together to enjoy workshop sessions hosted by media professionals, submit their work to judged contests, and provide a diverse forum for collaboration and engagement.
Convention is our largest event annually and something we all look forward to every year!
To register your scholastic organization for state convention, please fill out our registration form and mail in your payment separately via check. For individual and on-site entry requirements, category guidelines and individual award submissions, please visit the pages in the dropdown menu above.
We have updated our entry submission process and most of our competition categories, so be sure to read our State Convention Guidelines before you begin the process!
2025 State Convention will be held Friday, February 21, 2025.
