Workshops are an important aspect of ASPA. By visiting, interacting, and teaching at high schools throughout the state, we not only build a network of future media scholars, but also form connections with other teachers, both at the high school and collegiate levels. Workshop sessions are led by media professionals and give students hands-on experience, as well as a forum to ask questions.

In-person workshops run from roughly 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. depending on location. Lunches and supplies are all provided by ASPA and our partner universities, so that means it’s free for schools!
